A precinct is the most local level of Democratic Party organizing. It corresponds to where you vote on Election Day. Your precinct is made up of your neighbors, and together, you help shape Democratic leadership at the county, state, and national levels.

👥 Precinct Officers: Who Runs a Precinct?

Each precinct is led by three key officers who work with other local Democrats to mobilize voters.

Role	Responsibilites
Secretary/Treasurer	Keeps meeting records, tracks precinct activities, and assists in organizational duties.
Vice Chair	Supports the Chair, organizes community outreach, and attends county meetings.
Chair	Leads meetings, sets precinct goals, represents the precinct at county meetings, recruits election officials.

Every year, each precinct meets at least once, typically during the Precinct Annual Meeting (PAM).
