Democratic Women Raise Funds for True Ridge at April Meeting

At their April meeting, held at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Hendersonville, a group of Henderson County Democratic Women and friends came together not only for fellowship but also to make a difference. Together, they raised $200 in support of True Ridge, a local nonprofit based in Hendersonville.

True Ridge serves the Hispanic community across Polk, Transylvania, and Henderson counties. The organization provides critical services, including assistance with documentation for seniors and support for students navigating residency forms, financial aid applications, and scholarship opportunities.

The donation reflects the Democratic Women’s ongoing commitment to uplifting underserved communities and supporting grassroots efforts that foster equity and opportunity across Western North Carolina.
