Henderson County Democrats March in the Apple Parade: A Show of Unity and Determination

This year’s Apple Parade was not just a celebration of our community—it was a testament to the strength and unity of the Henderson County Democrats. In a traditionally red county, we showed up in full force, proudly marching together to remind everyone that when we unite, we can make a difference.

The sight of our diverse group, walking shoulder to shoulder, sent a powerful message: we are here, and we are ready to fight for the future we believe in. Whether it’s advocating for public education, protecting reproductive rights, ensuring affordable healthcare, or standing up for equality, we are committed to building a better Henderson County and a better North Carolina for all.

But the work doesn’t stop at the parade. We’ve come this far, but to win, we need to show up at the polls. We’re the underdogs in this fight, but together, we can win. We have to keep the momentum going, keep organizing, keep sharing our message, and most importantly, Vote BLUE up and down the ballot in every election.

Check out the video we made from the parade! It’s a reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together. Let's keep pushing forward and making our voices heard. We haven’t won yet, but with determination and hard work, we can make history.
