Poll Greeters
When a voter casts their ballot, Poll Greeters offer a welcoming, positive experience.
Serve outside the polling place in a designated spot.
Welcome voters to the polling place with a smile and a professional, helpful presence. Assist voters, answer questions, and hand out literature.
Watch what is happening outside the polling place and be ready to report issues to the Observer Team.
Poll Observers
Poll Observers ensure that every eligible voter has convenient access to cast a ballot.
Note conduct of all present during voting.
Report any perceived problems to the Chief Judge and the Observer Coordinator.
Witness the opening and closing of tabulators and poll books to ensure their integrity and safekeeping.

During the week, the polling location is open from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm, and on Saturdays until early afternoon. All early voting will take place at Henderson County Board of Elections, 75 E. Central Street.
