Cheri has shown she can win in tough years - winning statewide twice, even in tough political environments like 2014, and in 2020 she outperformed most Democrats on the ballot including in rural communities.
Recent polling shows this race is tied, and that Cheri is the candidate who can take on D.C. Insider Congressman Ted Budd and win.
Cheri’s people-powered campaign has raised more than $9.6 million since launching the campaign – doubling what Congressman Budd raised in the same period.
Cheri believes candidates should be responsive to people, not corporate special interests. She doesn’t accept corporate PAC money, and she’s earned support from all 100 counties - with 90 percent of contributions $100 or less.
Cheri’s campaign has also begun communicating with voters early by advertising via digital and television and North Carolina is already standing up a coordinated campaign to reach voters directly in every corner of the state.
