Event hosted by the Young Democrats of Henderson County to promote access to local candidates and advocacy groups
HENDERSONVILLE – The Young Democrats of Henderson County will gather with local candidates and advocacy groups for food and music. Local musicians Daniel Shearin and Ryan O’Keefe from the band River Whyless will be performing acoustic sets along with performances by Mike Martinez and Kathryn O’Shea. The public will also have an opportunity to meet and hear from local candidates including; Jasmine Beach-Ferrara (NC11), Michael O’Shea (NC State House 117), Mary Ellen Kustin (Henderson School Board), and others. El Centro, The Progressive Alliance, the Women Dems of Henderson County, along with other advocacy groups will be at the event sharing information about their respective groups. A BBQ sandwich plate with chips, slaw and a drink is for purchase online with a minimum donation of 15$ per plate or for purchase that day while supplies last.
