Voter-protection Team
Want to know what’s going on with the State Board of Elections or see the Voting Results?
Our Mission
NCDP and HCDP believe, and the voter protection team works to create and support our county where:
-
Every eligible NC voter should have meaningful access to cast their ballot conveniently
-
When a voter registers and casts their ballot, they should have a welcoming, positive experience
-
County BOEs and elections offices should work for voters - making the process smooth and easy to understand.
How the Vo-pro Team Makes This Happen in Henderson County:
You! When you volunteer to do Poll work during Early Voting:
a) Inside observers who watch and report on the election process. (Dems only.)
b) Roaming/at-large observers to come to the assistance of the above or voters. (Dems
only.)
c) Outside poll greeters who offer voters information and a welcome. (Dems or UNAs)
